Getting Ready For You: Part 1

Jun 10th, 2020

Dear Patients,

We are excited to re-open our doors and welcome you back! Before we see your smiling faces again, we want to share some of the changes we have made and help answer some of the questions you might have. We are also happy to share some of the physical changes we have made to our clinic with the utmost respect for your health and comfort.

A Few Physical Changes:

Doors We have installed doors on patient rooms to isolate aerosol-generating dental procedures.

Air Filtration System Medical grade Hepa filters have been installed throughout the clinic to ensure enhanced air purification.

Answers To Questions You May Have: How will I know when you are resuming services? We will communicate our opening date through email, website, and on all social media platforms.

How do I book appointments moving forward? The process of booking your appointment will remain the same. You can book appoint- ments through a phone, email, or one of our digital platforms like our website or Facebook page. We will not be accepting unscheduled walk-ins.

Will your hours of operation remain the same? Our hours of operation will be the same and can be found online on our website and our social media channels.

What are some of the changes you have made to ensure my safety? You can expect some changes from what you have been accustomed to in the past. We believe that these changes will enhance the positive experience you’ve always counted on our team to deliver. Your safety and comfort is our number one priority.

Our 5 Key Processes For Your Personal Safety And Care: Active Screening All patients and staff will be screened through a questionnaire and touchless temperature taking process. Patients will have their temperature checked upon arrival while our staff will have their temperature checked throughout the day.

Touchless Check-ins and Check-Outs Staff members will open doors for you and all paperwork will now be completed electroni- cally.

Enhanced Protection Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to both our patients and staff.

Reduced Occupancy We still need to abide by the social distancing rules and as a result, we need to limit the number of people in the office at the same time. We will restrict office access to patients only. Additionally, in-person consultations will be done by video or teleconferencing in an effort to reduce face to face interactions.

Enhanced Disinfection All common spaces In the office will be thoroughly disinfected hourly throughout the day.

What will happen if there is another State of Emergency declared after re-opening? Wellington Aurora Dental is adhering to all public health guidelines put forward by the Government of Ontario. Should another state of emergency be declared, and we are not considered an essential service, we may have to pause operations at that time.

If you have any questions, please connect with our team and we would be happy to speak with you.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
